Assign Developer Roles | Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
FOLLOW THESE BELOW STEPS TO QUICKLY ASSIGN DEVELOPER ROLES FOR A FIREBASE PROJECT IN GCP.
STEP 1
Make sure you have Google Firebase Account & created a Firebase Project. If you have not created a Firebase project yet, create a project by going to this link : https://console.firebase.google.com/
STEP 2
Search for "Google Cloud platform" in your browser or directly go to https://cloud.google.com/gcp/
A) Select your Firebase Google account.
B) Click on "Console" to navigate to Google Cloud Console.
STEP 3
A) Make sure your Firebase project google Account is selected.
B) Select your Firebase Project Name.
STEP 4
A) Click on "ALL"
B) Select your Firebase Project
STEP 5
A) Click on "IAM & Admin" from the left side menu.
B) Then, Click on "IAM"
STEP 6
A) Make sure your Firebase Project Name is selected.
B) Click on "ADD" to add a new Developer to Assign roles.
STEP 7
A) Enter developer email. In our case enter - tctechdevelopers@gmail.com
Add Roles-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 exactly as shown below & then click on "SAVE"
STEP 8
As you have completed assigning Role, Now please verify these:
A) Correct Firebase Project name is selected.
B) Developer Email is correct.
C) Roles assigned are exactly similar as shown below.
STEP 9
NEWLY ADDED
1. Also Add Role "Service Usage Admin" in the above list.
2. And Add Role "Artifact Registry Reader" in the above list.
2. And Add Role "Service Account User" in the above list.
STEP 10
Additional Step to follow If your Firebase Project is newly created.
1. Go to Firebase Console -> https://firebase.google.com/
2. Select your Project
3. Click "Settings icon" from the left menu
4. Click on "Project Settings"
5. Enter the "Support Email"
Congratulations ! Your added developer can now manage your Firebase project & Google cloud project.
